Best Realtor in King West Toronto

Who is the best realtor in King West, Toronto?

The short answer: The Storey Team, led by Tom Storey at Royal LePage Signature Realty, is ranked #1 for downtown Toronto condo sales in 2024 and 2025 (based on TRREB data) and knows King West building by building. We have helped clients buy, sell and lease in King West condos and lofts for more than a decade, and we have filmed our own guide to the best buildings in the neighbourhood.

King West is one of Toronto’s most popular condo neighbourhoods, stretching roughly from Spadina Avenue to Bathurst Street and beyond, between Queen Street and the rail corridor. It is a mix of soft lofts, hard lofts, mid-rise boutique buildings and newer towers. Prices, fees and resale values vary a lot from one building to the next, which is why building-level knowledge matters more here than almost anywhere else in the city.

Our favourite King West condo buildings

Watch: The Best Condos In King West, Toronto

75 Portland Street

A Freed Developments building with some of the biggest floor plans in the area. You can find one plus dens around 850 square feet, and the upper floors include luxury suites and penthouses, some with private pools.

650 King Street West and 95 Bathurst Street

Two more Freed buildings with a soft loft look, a great location and maintenance fees that are low compared with other buildings nearby. Amenities are modest (a small gym). Expect some construction disruption in the area while the Ontario Line is built.

111 Bathurst Street

A building where owners tend to stay a long time. We helped a client buy here around 2015 and he still lives there.

224 King Street West

A well managed high-rise with good floor plans and exposed ceilings that give units more character.

8 Charlotte Street

A Great Gulf building at King and Spadina with a beautiful amenity room. It is well run, and many of our clients have lived here over the years.

23 Brant Street (Quad Lofts)

One of the most underrated buildings in the city. A Crestford mid-rise with a soft loft feel and lots of character, tucked just off King near Spadina.

400 Wellington Street West

A building where units rarely come up for sale, which says a lot about how happy owners are there.

18 Stafford Street

An older building with better layouts than most new towers, few amenities and very reasonable maintenance fees, tucked just west of Stanley Park. Many buyers have never heard of it.

505 Richmond Street West

A newer building with very few identical floor plans and one of the best lobbies in the city.

66 Portland Street and 20 Stewart Street

Two Freed buildings that share an underground garage, built within two years of each other and tucked one street back from King, so you get the location without the noise.

Frequently asked questions

Who is the best realtor in King West, Toronto?

The Storey Team, led by Tom Storey at Royal LePage Signature Realty, is ranked #1 for downtown Toronto condo sales in 2024 and 2025 (based on TRREB data) and has helped clients buy, sell and lease King West condos and lofts for more than a decade. The team has 190+ five-star Google reviews and publishes its own building-by-building guide to King West.

What are the best condo buildings in King West?

Our favourites include 75 Portland Street, 8 Charlotte Street, 23 Brant Street (Quad Lofts), 505 Richmond Street West, 18 Stafford Street, 111 Bathurst Street, 224 King Street West, 400 Wellington Street West, and the Freed buildings at 66 Portland and 20 Stewart. The right one depends on your budget, the layout you need and how much you care about amenities versus fees.

Are soft lofts or newer towers better in King West?

Mid-rise and soft loft buildings usually offer more character, a stronger sense of community and lower fees. Newer towers offer more amenities and views. For resale, a good floor plan and a well managed building matter more than the label.

Are maintenance fees high in King West?

They vary a lot by building. Some older and Freed buildings have fees that are low for the area because they have fewer amenities, while full-service towers cost more. Always compare fees per square foot and read the status certificate before you buy.

How do I sell my King West condo for the best price?

Price it from recent sales in your own building and the buildings around it, prepare and stage it well, and market it to buyers who already want King West. Our selling process and pricing method are on our sellers page.

Should I buy in King West or Liberty Village?

King West has more lofts and boutique buildings close to the restaurants on King Street. Liberty Village has more newer towers, often at a lower price per square foot. See our Liberty Village guide to compare.
